I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review. This series keeps getting better. Still told in multiple POVs this a fast paced drama filled book just like the first one. You can really tell the authors are getting better with their writing. This book picks right up after the cliffhanger at the end of the first and of course there is a lot of drama still going on with Cindy. Loved the epilogue to this amazing love story between Esme and Jackson. Looking forward to reading about Marcy next.

Kacey Hamford comes back with book two of the Rocking Series, picking up where the cliffhanger in book one finished. With more drama and heartache, will Esme have her happily ever after? Or is her and Jackson set to be doomed in the end?Oh how I love this series! This book has MORE drama and MORE bitchiness then book one, and I saw a slight improvement in the characters and the story was stronger then ever. Though this story set my heart in stoned with my feelings towards Marcy, who I don't like, it still get me gripping to the edges of my seat in anticipation.

This book picks up right where the 1st one ended. Cindy continues to cause drama for Esme and Jackson throughout her pregnancy. You will experience pain, excitement and anger throughout the story. Loved Marcy and how she defends and protects Esme, everyone needs a friend like that. Absolutely fell in love with Esme and Jackson, would love to see a third book on their story, I feel that there is more to be known about Jackson and Esme's families.I'm looking forward to reading Marcy's story next.

Again this second in the series was a wouldn't let me put it down until it was finished sort of read. The characters are such that you feel a gravitational pull towards them, you love them and you love to hate them! This installment has hot and steamy bits in it as well. Not exactly your classic rocker book but that is what makes it interesting! Can't wait to see what twist and turns the series takes me on next :)

In Rocking Scarlett by Kacey Hamford, we follow Esme and Jax through more trials during her pregnancy, her emotions and an upcoming band tour. And, yes, that woman shows up again to cause trouble.Thing don’t go smoothly for Esme and Jax, and you will feel their turmoil, pain and excitement. It’s another of Kacey’s book that I couldn’t put down. I’m looking forward to Rocking Marcy, her third installment in the Rocking series.

Book 2 comes straight after the huge cliffhanger of book 1. I'm glad I read back to back as I'm not sure I could stand the wait.I love Jax more in this book he's just so hot yet can be so sweet.Loved seeing more character being brought in the story. Marcy and Rick, although I was disappointed with Cindy. I want to know more of her story and why she's such a bitch lol.

Can I get me one of him please !!!! I feel like every girl wants a Jax ... He is so attentive and has the bit of bad guy and romance .. He is just an all round good guy ... Esme has to put up with a lot of shit from Cindy but Jax sticks by her through it all ... Great romance

Much better writing style time around. Another good story but I just felt Cindy's involvement was left open. I didn't feel any closure when it came to her issues.

A great second book.I really enjoyed Rocking Esmeralda and am so pleased to say I've enjoyed Rocking Scarlett just as much. It had all the right stuff, romance, a jealous crazy bitch ex-girlfriend. Perfect best friend and who knew that Jon was gay. Read on as Jackson and Esmeralda anxiously await the birth of their child.

I really wanted Esme to grow a backbone. The character of Cindy was interesting and has potential for her own story. A LOT of repetitive "disagreements" and make-ups. I found the ending to be rushed, although it wrapped up nicely. it as a nice easy read.

Rocking Scarlett (The Rocking Series #2) by Kacey Hamford2 StarsOh dear, I really don’t know where to start. Rocking Esme ended on a cliffhanger, and though that story was poorly written I really wanted to know what happened next, and I hoped that the author had gained some experience between the two books and that her writing would have improved. Not so. It’s dialogue driven, which would be fine if the dialogue wasn’t so stilted and unnatural. I was driven crazy by the dialogue tags being at the beginning of the speech instead of after it, which just added to the clumsiness. I don’t think I’ve ever read a story before that I can turn around and say, ‘it lacks description’, normally authors tend to over write and bog the reader down with too much, but I don’t think this has any at all….. certainly none that I noticed amongst the bad dialogue! No picture of what people looked like, or explanation of how the scene was set up, it was very strange being given nothing.Busy, busy, busy… For such a short book there was a lot that happened, mini drama’s that were pointless and underdeveloped. Not to mention childish. The reactions these women had to certain situations made me feel like I was back in the playground. If you go out with a rockstar then you have to accept that he will play up to the women in the crowd, that’s what sells their music… for them to get angry and jealous over it was pathetic to say the least, and very aggravating to read. At least it eventually became clear who Scarlett was, because when I picked up the book and began reading I was confused as to why the book was called Rocking Scarlett. Not much more I can say about it really!Copy supplied for review

When I bought the first book, I went ahead and purchased this one as well. And it's a good thing I did, as the first book was not complete, it ends about halfway through the story with a huge cliffhanger. I really hate being forced to buy another book to get the whole story. It was not well written. It felt like reading really bad fan fiction, written by thirteen year old girls. The dialogue was immature and didn't flow like natural conversations. There were no contractions used, and the over use of exclamation marks and question marks was ridiculous. Don't waste your money on these, there are much better rockstar books out there; The Backup Series by A.M. Madden, the Stage Dive series by Kylie Scott, The Rockstar series by Anne Mercier, just to name a few.

Ok definitely has to be the fastest I have ever read two books back to back but I absolutely could not put this book down! I love Jax and Esme, they are the perfect couple! With book one leaving you hanging about what happens with Esme, any reader will want to dive right into Rocking Scarlett and want to know what happens! Jax is such a sweet snd caring guy, especially for a rocker, and he definitely goes above and beyond in this book. He will definitely make any female reader swoon :-)Amazing job on these first two books and I cannot wait to rwadr the rest of this series!!

I purchased both of these books because the reviews were good. Big mistake, big, big mistake. Sadly I should have saved myself the time and money. There was potential, yes, the characters were good, and I love a good "rocker" story, but both books came off as if they had been written by a thirteen year old - albeit a very, "mature" thirteen year old. The dialogue was childish, and the sentences choppy. I literally forced myself to finish the second because I had already purchased it. Again, I wanted to like these books, but due to the poor writing, I really couldn't.

I read the first book in the series and though the writing style was very similar to fan fiction written by young teenagers I still enjoyed the story. I started reading this instalment hoping that the writing style would've matured but unfortunately that wasn't the case. The story in this book is weak, it lurches from one event to the next without any development. The characters are never fully explored leaving the story feeling lifeless. I really wanted to love this book but I struggled to finish it, I won't be reading the rest of the series.

i read this book in one sitting because i already connected with the characters in Rocking Esme it was an easy read and loved how the author gave Pov of the other characters so you felt like you knew them all a lot more especially Rick & Marcy.I would like a book about Cindy although she was the villian i felt like there was more to be shared about her story.

This book picks up right where the last one finished. I felt more of a connection with this book maybe as i knew the characters much better. If you loved the first boo, you will want to dive straight into this second book, which luckily is a little bit longer. There is still plenty of drama and tension and Jax so all is good when reading as these are all things i love to read about.

Awwwww loved this book. It was the follow on from Rocking Esme. I loved the connection between Esme & Jax. He was such a soppy lad for her. His heart belonged to her and you could see that. A few ups and downs along but they got there! Flove!

They had Ups and downs but worth the fightCindy continued on in her attempts to rain hell on Esme. Talk about delusional. Even with all the emotional and physical ups and downs, my heart went out to Esme and Jackson.
