***3.5 Stars***People; brace yourself for some really brutal, dark and shocking stuff here.It was a tale so dark that I, a reader who is used to reading mindfuck and disturbing stuff, ended up cringing a lot of times. Somehow, it’s a relief that I felt shaken like this. because some of the books I have been reading recently stated as dark didn't touch me one bit.And it makes me worried. Is it me? Am I become insensitive due to all the dark content I have been reading in the last few years?Did I develop a hard skin because of it? Well, let me tell you: I'm flesh and blood.WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST READ?!I want and I need to believe this shit does not exists. The story had great potential to be a winner. The plot was original and it hit my buttons, however, something very important was missing. You know that “bridge” a character has to cross when he changes or tries to redeem itself? Sadly, the author's lead in changing Vadim's personality from being a cruel monster to a human with conscience was too fast paced. I couldn't follow it. In one moment Vadim was throwing Sofia in a cage and in the next he was looking at her with gentle eyes. It happened too quickly in my opinion.Heed the warning: This book is not just dark - it’s horrific, depraved and disturbing. If you do not enjoy books containing blood, guts, taboo and more – this book is not for you

I absolutely LOVED Snuff by Bonny Capps. This story had it all: romance, thrill, darkness, and gore. It was a total win in my book. I devoured each page and cringed at some points. Absolute perfection! Can't wait to see what else Bonny has in store for us readers! "She doesn't want to understand what makes me tick. Because she is perfect, and I'm flawed. She sees me as a monster, and I see her as an angel. How are we ever to see eye to eye?"Highly recommend this one to all dark romance lovers out there!

NOW LIVE!!!! -->http://amzn.to/22eUkkq5 Bloody Stars!Read the warning. This story is dark dipped in gory nuts and drizzled with taboo chocolate. Story: 4.5Characters: 5Twists: 5Judging the cover, I had no idea what I was going into. I didn't read the blurb, nothing. This was much more than I anticipated, I loved every single thing about this book. It's not for dark romance readers, it's more of a horror, erotic horror. Just be prepared to take a sadistic ride on the disturbed boat. Snuff. That's what I expected this story to be about, yes it was, but it was much more, so much more. Russian mafia. Kidnapping. Torture. Sadistic, cold blooded characters. Add some taboo and it's all the makings of a fantastic, dark book. Bonny Capps hit the bullseye. She made me smile from ear to ear, I was squeezing the life out of my kindle, gasping from the twistedness. Sofia's life changes the minute steps foot in Russia, she's lost her parents and is off to live with her estranged uncle. She's kidnapped by the mafia. Depravity ensues. I can't tell you all the details because it will ruin the experience. At first, I thought, omg please don't let this be another, "I fall in love with my captor and we live happily ever after." This was not the case, not at all. I admired Sofia's fight, her inner battle to stay grounded and play the game she didn't know the rules to. "He wants to frighten me. He wants to intimidate me into submission. He wants to take away the life that I’ve worked so hard for. I won’t give that to him. He cannot bleed me dry of my determination. My resolve. I will get out of here."Now. OKAY. We have a few villains in this story. I love me some bad guy. Dimitri is a whole new level of crazy. I didn't know whether I loved him, hated him or loved to hate him. I'm still not sure. He's terrifying , yet intriguing, scary damaged. A very complex, twisted character. I couldn't get enough of him, yet I knew he needed some help. But I'm thinking death is his only reverie. He's the perfect psychopath. "He’s psychotic, yet magnificent. He’s a conundrum, and I will make it my mission to solve him … to uncover his truth. Though I’m sure it’s riddled with cobwebs and lies and deceit."I could go on and on about this book, give you every twisted thought. But no, I'm going to let you take this ride all on your own. Hands down a favorite for me this year. I absolutely loved this book, I'm sure it will stick with me for a long time.FYI: This is the first book, you will not get all the answers within this one.

If an author can create a monster of all monsters and write so eloquently that the reader feels empathy towards said monster, then the author is no longer just an author or writer. He or she is now a gifted artist. Bonny has owned this gift long before Snuff, but dagnabbit, she took that gift and blew it to smithereens with Snuff! Sofia and her mom lived in their own world. Mom as a doctor and Sophia as an up and coming ice skating champion. Both lived in a world of love and safety until tragedy strikes. This one tragedy is the first domino and will capitulate Sophia into tragedy so traumatic, she barely survives. I wanted to be mad at Sophia because for every action there is a consequence. I initially felt she could have made better decisions after tragedy #1. I've since realized if she would have made any other decision, she would have only delayed the inevitable.Enters Vadim, domino #2. As a reader you will want to blame him for everything but fate decided Sofia's destiny well before this clusterfu*k occurred. Therefore the game must go on......enters Dimitri, dominoes #3 through infinity! The monster of all monsters is ready to play! Are you ready for Dimitri? Probably not. There are scenes where Dimitri headline an event that are so messed up, I found myself forced, yes forced, to listen to Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy"! Gahhh now that's painful! This book is extremely dark and should be devoured by adults who enjoy the darker side of this genre. There is not one iota of sweetness and all things good after Chapter 1. Adhere to the warning lovingly offered by the artist. Respect the damn warning. If you choose to move forward, prepare yourself for an epic adrenaline rush! Last but not least, for the love of your sanity don't forget you can walk away, breathe, and acquaint yourself with the happy juice as often as you need!Five gazillion stars because as usual Bonny came through like a BOSS!

I had the pleasure of beta reading this book. OMG!!! This book is AMAZING!!! Bonny Capps has given her readers a work of PURE GENIUS!!! This book takes you through the entire spectrum of emotions - sadness, anger, fear, joy, and so much more!!! Sofia, Demetri, and Vadim...I don't know where to even begin with these characters. They are so well-written and complex. There are so many different layers to these characters. They will leave you rocking in a corner mumbling in foreign tongues by the last page of this book. The way that this book ends is INSANE!!! I am so glad that Bonny Capps is continuing this story with a Book 2. I don't know if I can wait to find out what happens next!! I highly recommend this book!! It is really engrossing. Snuff (Book One) will hook it's readers from the very first page. You will not be sorry that you picked this book up!! This book is worthy of more then 5 stars!!

I seriously don't know what to write !!!it's like Bonny /Dimitri bludgeoned me . Right on my conker and my brain is knocked around .Sofia Demetriev is a swan . A beautiful figure skating swan , who loses everything the day she wins the Nationals in Figure Skating championship. Her biggest anchor and supporter - her mom is dead . Leaving Sofia to go visit Russia , to her uncle.there she's abducted, chained and caged to be a star in a Snuff movie. The Flesh traders and Smugglers , or Bratva , are animalistic butchers who abduct young girls for flesh trade , organs or snuff movies. Sofia shouldve been dead , that would've been a respite for her, but the Satanic Dimitri "saves" her for himself. Herein she becomes a pawn in inter gang rivalry and a fuck toy to Dimitri. She's abused, beaten, shackled, humiliated, impregnated !!!I cannot stress enough the brutality of these men - Vadim, Vlad and Dimitri! !They're Darkest monsters in flesh, sick in the head who snuff out countless lives to earn money and power. Bonny is completely crazy in the head for even imagining them !!!Very very well written books . I felt like I should jump in and saw Dimitri in half !!Can NOT wait for book 2 Damn you Bonny!!!!!

Hello, little mouse...I just finished and am still speechless.. only Bonny can write a book so dark and disturbing, and yet have you begging for more. Bonny continues to perfect her craft, creating realistic scenes and relatable characters. She brings the dark, taboo world to life through her pages, leaving the reader wondering, wtf did I just read, and when will the next one be published?!Sofia is a girl that has had to learn how to endure, facing more obstacles than most in her young age, from the death of her father, to a life altering injury. " When you want something badly enough, your soul craves it. You could starve for days to achieve it. The climb is just the beginning. "Just when life starts to fall into alignment, one tragedy after the other ensue, leaving Sofia fighting for her mind, soul, and life.“My name is Dimitri . Welcome to my home.”“Why? Why what? Take you? That’s simple.” I tilt my head as I watch his expression darken before he whispers, “Because I wanted to.”" I may have to play Dimitri’s game of cat and mouse, and though it doesn’t make me proud – in order to survive – I must do things that I’m not proud of."..." he’s The Prince of Darkness and I’m the sacrifice; the lamb that will be bled dry to feed his power."Can't wait for part 2!

If you have ever read a book by Bonny then you know she has a way of sucking her readers into the book and leaving them breathless . I was very lucky and honored to be able to beta read Snuff for Bonny . From the start I was hanging on every word picturing it happening in my head . Maybe sometimes I'd close my eyes for a second to get through that one part but I couldn't stop . My heart and mind is so torn about how I feel for Dimitri . Do I love him and want him with Sofia or do I want him to rot and be forgotten ? Then you throw in Vadim on my heart so many things come to mind for me about him and nine I can put in this review or I'll spoil it . Sofia you watch her grow from this beautiful skater into this women who needs to learn to fight back or simply let go . If I could give Snuff a higher rating I would because Bonny has made magic with this book , be prepared to be Snuffed than make sure to thank Bonny after

I was so happy when Bonny allowed me to Beta Read Snuff. From reading her previous books and getting little sneak peeks of this one, she had me watering at the mouth and I was not disappointed once the full book got to my hands. Snuff lacks nothing when it comes to the wow factor. Some scenes leave nothing to the imagination and you want to stop and look away but can't because you just know you will miss something important. This book is not for the weak of heart and pushes lines but that is what made it so epic. Bonny gives us the characters that you have the love/hate relationship and even after everything that is done, makes me wonder how I can even still think there will be anything redeemable about them. Sofia, Vadim and Dimitri have come a long way from the first page and I can't wait to find out the outcome of who will survive this twisted world that Bonny has thrown us into.

Just Wow! This is a crazy good dark read. It starts right off with what you think is going to be a night of fun and celebration only in an instant to turn into a horrific nightmare. It does end with a pretty big cliff hanger. I can't wait to pick up the next one!

I don’t stop him when he parts my lips with his tongue, and I don’t stop him when his tongue tangles with mine. I don’t stop him because I want him.”5 deliciously dark and dirty stars! Bonny has done it again…..she’s taken my obsession for the dark and turned it up even higher!I was one of the lucky beta reviewers and while I tried to stay away from what the book was about. I knew it was going to be dark. But I wasn’t prepared for how dark it was and no that’s not a bad thing at all. Whatever you’ve read in the past that was dark, is nothing compared to this book. I don’t want to give too much away with my review, and well I don’t think I can get enough words together to say how good this book is. My heart was battling my head….I hated Dimitri, but then I loved him and then I hated him again. But damn it he’s one sexy, disturbed man. And he makes the game of “Cat and Mouse” so sexy….you’ll have to read it to understand what I mean by that. And while you’re lusting over Dimitri, you’ll be lusting over Vadim as well. I don’t even know where to start with Vadim, he’s the dark, dangerous, quiet type, but one you don’t want to cross. Your heart will be torn in half! And Sofia…..you feel for her every inch of the way as you are reading and you feel the pain she feels. And oh that ending…..Bonny Capps has a dark, and well, fucked up mind, but damn it I love it!! I fell in love with her and her books a while ago, but Snuff has just accelerated my love! She twisted, dark, and knows how to write one hell of a book!! I can stress enough how much I love this book and how fortunate I am to read it before it hits the shelves…...but again prepare yourself before reading…...don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!

Bonny does it yet again! This book will blow your mind. From the very beginning I was drawn in. Then along comes Dimitri, why oh why do I love him so? He is wrong, demented in the head... plum evil!!! But for some strange reason I can't let him go. No I should feel this way for Vadim. Dimitri puts Sophia completely through hell. I don't know how she does it, how she is still surving. Then add Eva... who is Eva you ask? Well you will have to read this amazing book to find out... no spoilers from me here.

This is the first book I have read by Bonny Capps. I ran across a teaser on a Facebook page. I read it and instantly thought that it was a perfect read for myself and my Book BFF! We are both into reading really dark, mind blowing stories. So I told her about it and she started reading it first. I received messages like "I'm nervous about Snuff, never had a warning like that!" "It's horrifyingly dirty and nasty." And my favourite "I wish you were reading this with me, I need you to hold my hand, it's going to this very dark place!"Well, what does a Book BFF do?! That's right! I drop everything to read this book and support her BBFF, that's what i do!Words of advice: ABSOLUTELY HEED THE WARNING!! It is there for a reason. This book is so dark and disturbing at times, that I literally had to put it down and find a happy place, so that i could get through the rest of it! There are only a few happy moments in this book... Cherish and hold on to them. As the happiness is ripped away from Sofia so very quickly and never to be seen again. Sofia's mom is a doctor and immigrated to the U.S. from Russia many years ago. Sofia is 16 going on 17, and is an up and coming ice skating champion. Sofia and her mom are living a normal, happy life, until tragedy strikes and Sofia's world is turned completely upside down. Sofia is forced to move to Russia, to live with her only known living relative, her Mother's brother. Whom she has never met.The downward spiral to hell doesn't stop there. While in Russia, tragedy strikes again and this is where we are introduced to Vadim. You could blame him for what happens next to Sofia and you really want to hate him, but this is where the true monster enters the mix. Dimitri Vavilov! Now, he is one sick and twisted bastard. He literally had my skin crawling at times and mesmerized by his beautiful smile. At times I was unsure as to whether or not to love him or hate him... But was always afraid of him and his intentions. He truly was a beautiful monster...if ever there could be such a thing.I loved everything about this book. The twists and turns to the story kept me on the edge of my seat seat. And I walked the fine line between sane and insane. Sofia's strength and determination is amazing. How she keeps her wits about her in order to survive this hell, I'll never know?! I can't wait for the next book to come out, because as you may have guessed, it ended in a bit of a cliffhanger. I have a feeling this story is going to get darker before we see the light at the end of the tunnel. I highly recommend this to all who have a dark and twisted soul! I give this 5 terrifying ⭐️'s!!

SNUFF is the story of a young woman named Sofia. In the beginning, Sofia is an innocent girl on her way to becoming a professional ice skater. Since this is dark erotica and not a fairytale, of course Sofia's life changes early on in the book, forever leaving the innocent ice skater behind. Bonny Capps takes Sofia and her story in an entirely different direction, physically moving Sofia across the globe while simultaneously taking Sofia (and us readers) to dark, disturbing places. If you have read anything by Bonny Capps you already know that she can write extremely disturbing, twisted, awe-inspiring, totally engrossing material. As in her other books, Capps shows no reluctancy to cross boundaries, creating characters who engage in various types of taboo activities. As the title suggests, this book contains characters participating in the production of snuff films but that's not where the depravity ends. The characters engage in a few other, "frowned upon" activities as well. What was most impressive to me was that there were several events and activities in SNUFF that I've never found in other dark erotica books. I knew Capps was capable of taking this story to the darkest depths but I did not expect such a unique, inventive story! Although there were some gaps in the storyline (parts where I would've liked to have had more detail), this story is so phenomenal that it'd be unjust to rate it less than 5 stars!

Wow! I didn't think Bonny could do better than her last series. This one is grueling amazing!!Snuff became another of my favorite stories. It is not sappy romantic but deadly romantic.Sofia lived in her own ice skating world and competitions with her mother, having lost her father at a young age. She lived to be on the ice. What could be better for an amazing athlete, right? Her world ends with the death of her mother and moves to Russia. She could continue her skating there too. So is not the case. The little time she is allowed to bond with her uncle is soon taken away. She is thrown into captivity if you can call it that. She is in a dark place and has no way out.Dmitri saves her from future torture, but was this really a godsend. Sofia faces more than one person can take. This later at the hands of her husband. He treasures her in his own psychotic way and that to him is everything. It becomes a mouse and cat game, but not for Sofia, this is her survival game.Page after page, blood drop and gut wrenching scenes divulge you into a world only understood behind the doors of the very horror. Bravo Bonny!!!! I can only hope to hold out for the sequel.Snuff Book 1Bonny Capps

True to Bonny Capps style, this book is SHOCKING and DISTURBING!! I have followed Bonny through her journey and this book is even more HORRIFIC, if that can even be possible. I love that Ms. Capps continues to stay true to her style and perfects each and everyone of her accomplishments. The feeling of SADISTIC dark evil comes alive as the tale unfolds and is unsettling and brilliant in it's execution, CAPTIVATING dark readers up to the last chapter. The characters are SADISTIC and INSANE, and the story revolves around a morally TERRIFYING subject.Like so many of her other books, Bonny's proficiency at developing her characters will leave the reader with conflicted emotions regarding the villian(s). You will loathe him while wanting to tie him to your bed an f*ck him!! You will empathize and aspire for happiness for the heroine/victim, and dependant on the rest of the characters those emotions can range from one end of the scale to the other!BE WARNED-this book leaps over the boundaries of MACABRE and may push some readers to their breaking point!I am convinced, that as the author continues, she will gain more recognition and notoriety for her continual willingness to push the MORBID limits of her mind!!

wow, this is all my mind is saying as i read Snuff by Bonny Capps. As a new beta, i got he pleasure to be one of the few to read sooner than others. I'm not good with words but i'm going to try my best to do it justice. This story is as amazing as it mesmerizing and dark. This story about Sophia, Dimitri, and Vamid, kept me on the edge of my seats and me turning the page wanting and craving more. i love this story 110% and will reread and reread again and again. Bonny Capps captured with her deep characters struggles dealing with very real life situations, i thought it was very well written and if i could give it more stars i would cause it deserves it.

---- mild and not so mild spoilers ensue ----I'm very surprised about the ratings and reviews this childish, rather Mary Sue-ish and melodramatic story received. It is neither horrific, nor horrifying, not erotic, not well-written, and offers neither an insight into its characters, nor into snuff filming, nor into Russia or Russian mafia. This is instead very pedestrian, rather boring and silly, without a spare emotion or a brain cell shaken lose between its characters. Hilariously frumpy and downright middle-class, the alleged transgressions described in a tone which would better fit a pudding recipe. The heroine - after watching her fellow victims killed and while being raped - shows less emotion than Keanu Reeves in his first movies, and the baddies - though having raped and killed thousands of women and boys - fall for a breathy word from the heroine.A bit like how little Sally, fanficcer queenbee wannabe extraordinaire, imagines tortureporn would read like, while showing a distinct distaste for getting down to the gritty gore and resultant emotions - which are what people read horror for. Not the listless machinations of the various mafiosi as in this story. This feels like a half-hearted puzzle of scenes from third-rate movies put together by someone who doesn't understand even the most basic requirements of the genre. For those who were or are impressed by this I suggest reading some Val McDermid, or maybe Father Figure or Object D'Art or some good old Marquis de Sade. Caution! Unlike this here author, these people know how to write sexual horror or even just body horror.Oh, and multiple first person POVs in present tense is about as amateur fanfiction style and as irritating as it can get. Especially when not well executed. Apropos fanfiction, I forgot to mention that our heroine is an ice princess (a real one), whose misfortunes are as unbelievable as those of any Mary Sue stumbling into Hogwarts and rescuing Harry P., and of course she turns out to be a real princess, of sorts. Per happenstance. Because such stuff is so likely. Given the size of Russia. And the amount of Russian emigrants... good grief!

Snuff is Bonny Capps new brilliant book!! I got the luxury of reading this book as a new Beta reader. I mean she has really out did herself on this book. When you read about Sofia story and how her life ends up in the hands of a monster name Dimitri your not going to want to put the book down. As you read each chapter not only are you going to take a ride down Sofia horribly new life, but you are also going to be introduce to Dimitri twisted world where his the master of Sofia's life, and once he has her his not going to ever let her go. Oh and he tells her everyday and reminds her everyday how she belongs to him. What made me love this book so much is because there were so many times where I would get so pissed off at something I read. I think that's what made me love this book even more because it brought out so many feelings whether they were good or bad, and these feelings were not only for Sofia but also towards the people I thought were the devils. This book had me so conflicted with my own feelings about the characters in this book. I mean at one point it was like no matter what Dimitri did to Sofia. I still wanted him to be with her, but then another part of me was like that a**hole needs to die, and to me that's what makes a book so radiant is where you find yourself arguing with the book lol and believe me I did. I don't want to give away to much of this book because I'd rather have you find out for yourself of what crazy ride your about to go on. But I will say this If you have read Bonny other books and you thought they were crazy, dark and just out of this world well you haven't read nothing yet until you read this book. You thought Gabriel was bad wait tell you meet Dimitri he makes Gabriel look like a big teddy bear. Oh and readers this dark twisted ride has just got started we are about to enter a darker world in Snuff book 2. So I can't wait to see where Bonny takes us next. Until then little mouse ;-)

Dark, Nasty and Awesome. Not to sound cliché, but Bonny Capps has penned a grotesque masterpiece of Dark Matter in Snuff. The story throws the innocent main character into a maelstrom of nastiness way beyond her control. She must adapt to the corruption or be swallowed up by it. The author does an excellent job of bringing the horrors of the protagonist’s reality right into the living room, and make us not only feel, but smell, and taste and hear the gritty, black world which threatens to consume her.Every torture scene hurts us, every sexual scene arouses and debases us as much as the participants in the story. You must be a part of this story, swept along by characters that are, at once, both hateful and empathetic creatures. You find yourself stuck in the mind of mad men and understanding their madness, if not rationalizing it.And more, you take heart with the tribulations that seem to assault the protagonist, finding strength and motivation in her ability to deal with the terrible things that occur around her, finding joy in the often times small victories she achieves. And you learn to hate – really HATE – those that should be hated. You may find you understand how they came to be what and who they are, but you hate them nonetheless. hate them for what they do, and who they do it to. Hate them for their exploitation of the helpless, and their dark, erotic appetites. And you may find yourself a little turned on – you know, if your into that kind of thing. I like my erotic stories dark, and this one completely fills the slot (no pun intended). Take a walk on the dark side and pick up Snuff by Bonny Capps. You may not sleep for a while, but all your memories, and that uncomfortable feeling between your thighs, will be horrifically satisfying.

I was granted a sneak peek of SNUFF as a Beta reader. Once again, Bonny has left me speechless!! From the moment you grab this book, it will grab you right back. What a tangled web this author weaves, one I was more than happy to be caught in. I'd try to set it down so I could take my time and enjoy every delicious word, only to find myself lost in the incredible story line once again.Upon introduction of each character, you'll want to know more about them. Each one so complex and unique. As you get to know each character, you'll want to embrace them and run from them. I sit here wondering how I could get so caught up in this story line that I didn't want it to end.The ending may be more shocking than the entirety of the book. But, do not fret, this is only the beginning. I'm told there is a sequel in the works.Bravo Ms. Capps!!!! Once again I enjoyed following you down the road to debauchery. It's a shame I can only give this book 5 stars, it is absolutely deserving of much more.

Snuff by Bonny Capps####4.5 Hashtags#### Snuff is a superbly written twisted tale of kidnapping, torture, and depravity. Bonny Capps brilliantly twists a tale of a girl who has lost her entire family, travels to Russia to learn about her culture, and is thrust into the darkly dangerous world of Dimitri. The skill with which Capps manage to paint the dark, deary world of Snuff is unsurpassed, grabbing the reader by the throat and submerging them in the cold reality that Sofia suffers. It's unimaginable that anyone who pages through Snuff could walk away rooting for Dimitri in anyway, however, Capps still provides enough of a glimpse into his black heart that you, like Sofia, have glimmers of hope. The only reason I feel Snuff fell slightly shy of perfection was there was moments where I wanted *more*. I wanted more of the films, more of Dimitri's dark world. That being said, Snuff is a phenomenally penned dark novel that I challenge all readers to explore

Have you ever read something so perverse, so depraved, twisted to its core, you feel surrounded by darkness? You abhor the actions taking place, but can't seem to stop yourself from traveling deeper into the rabbit hole. Right and wrong cease to matter. Good and evil are irrelevant. Only the journey exists, the ride to the finish. If the answer is no, than you, my friend, have never read Bonny Capps. Snuff was simply enthralling. The story dark, but oh so mesmerizing. I fell in love with these characters and became so emotionally invested, I honestly couldn't tell you whom I was cheering for, the villian or the slight slightly less sadistic villian.Five stars for Bonny Capps’ Snuff. I'm fairly certain my mental health will never be the same, but it was so worth the loss. Sanity isn't all its cracked up to be anyways. ❤

    * 3 - Caught In A Bad Romance Stars *This book is very gory.. But I've read darker. Looking at cover, I thought I was going to get some shocking in your face gore! This might make me sound disturbed but I thought it would have dealt with more of the killings on film. There was a total of "3!" Just saying. Definitely a page turner... We have it all; incest, kidnapping, rape, torture, and live killings on film.. Which remind me of the Saw films.... The ending was crazy.. I'm so glad 2nd book is out. And I'm totally "Team Vadim" all the way! *Warning: Not For The Faint Of Heart.

This book is something else. It was interesting to get into the minds of Dimitri, Vadim and Sofia. It was really unpredictable to say what would happen in Dimitri's life. Like Sofia, I was scared of what would tick him or piss him off. When I read his story, God, I know he is sick but then you can help but to really understand him. The author has written in a way that you can understand and connect to their actions. I loved Sofia and her strength. I loved her passion for her skating, it kept her alive. There are lots secrets that will come out with will shock you. The story's flow is easy and good. Nowhere I struggled to understand. I will definitely read the next book!!Highly recommended for dark lovers!

Blown away. Wow just wow this review is hard to write I was just so captivated, shocked, scared and enjoyed every bit of it. Bonny just created a very scary world that the reader will be pulled into. This a very very dark read so be warned. But it's brilliant. Sofia is a young ice skater who has a tragedy that takes her from her home. Then the nightmare begins, and oh boy is it a nightmare. I fell in love with these characters and yes even Dimitri. Once you read you'll know he's a very twisted villain. He wasn't like anyone I read before and I was drawn to him. 10 stars. Bonny deserves a standing ovation for this. And omg what a ending I need more. Can't wait for book 2.

I'm lost for words at what I just finished reading. I'm a seasoned dark, horror story reader, yet at times the fucked-up-ness was too much for me to handle. Literally had to walk away twice- which has happened only once before to me! Without being a spoilery mcspoilerson, I want to warn you that the vivid imagery Bonny creates in this story is second to none and will stick with you even as you sleep- the good, the bad, and the ugly. Her character building gets better with each book she writes, as does her ability to pull you into the story. This is not for the faint-hearted, but if you enjoy gory horror with a compelling storyline, I'd highly recommend Snuff.
